Backyard update- part three

Whew fall is flying by, I have been meaning to get on here to post some updates but to be honest there isn’t much to share. Our backyard projects have made some progress but a recent set back has caused them to come to a screeching halt. Before that happened we were on the path to getting framing done for the sheds which I will share here.

We have our doors and windows picked out as well as our heating and cooling systems. This will be especially nice for me in my office shed so that I can use it all year long. If you know me you know that my love for details is my jam so I may or may not already be dreaming of how I want to design the inside. I have been dreaming of adding some vintage touches to the space mixed with a little modern farmhouse, think shiplap and chippy pieces. I was also toying around with the idea of framing wallpaper to add a different texture and print to the walls without fully committing to them. I want my office to be a space that I can create and inspire.

I hope that in the next couple of months I will have more updates but as the holidays and winter weather are fast approaching I am not sure it will happen this year. Sometimes we make plans, lay everything out and the universe has other plans. The best thing I have learned from all of this is that there is a reason for everything that happens, whether it is apparent in the present moment or not. So heres to staying positive and charging on!
