Chasing Your Dreams

Hey Friends

What does chasing your dreams look like for you? Do you know? It is completely okay to have no idea what your dreams are. I went to school for a long time to study Early Childhood Education with an emphasis in Special Education. At one point I was also going to school to be an interpreter.

I found my passion and love for interior design in my early thirties and while many times it makes me feel like I am late to the party , I know that it all happened the way it was meant to happen. I truly believe that I will be able to use my knowledge of my previous studies to help me in design some way, I just haven’t figured it out yet😜. One of my biggest dreams is to own my own antique store or at least have a booth at one someday.

I think sometimes for me I get caught up in the “comparison game” of social media and just in life in general. The thing is, chasing your dream is a lot of work. The work is what no one talks about right. All of the snapshots of peoples lives make me think I am failing when in reality I am right where I need to be. It has been something I have struggled with a lot, especially this year. There are times when it will be hard and you( if you are like me) will want to give up. I am here to be your cheer leader and tell you to keep pushing, I know its hard and it sucks sometimes but you can do this. I am right there with you friend! Pursuing your dream is a beautiful thing.
