House Plants and Vintage Finds

I feel like I need a drum roll….

Ok maybe not but y’all, this space in our home has quickly become my happy place.

The rest of the house may look a little bit crazy( we have a few behind the scenes things happening) but this space has my heart. As I shared in my last garden inspiration post( here) , having plants and gardening reminds me of my dad. I love the idea of not only having a piece of him with me but getting to be a plant mom. I have always wanted a house full of plants, it is quickly becoming a reality.

Y’all know I love vintage, well this plant stand has given me the perfect place to mix some of my spring inspired vintage in with all of my new plants. The vintage chest (a free on the side of the road score) is the perfect place for storing the bags of soil we have. A few vintage terra cotta pots mixed in with the new ones adds a touch of cozy.

This little stand is going to be such a great space to use in the spring/summer but also in the fall, maybe even the winter.. I have some fun decorating ideas for the holidays( I know I am jumping the gun on that one big time), I cant help it, it just feels like the perfect piece for our home. Its been fun to see how into planting and having plants my husband is too. If you follow me on Instagram you know it was his idea to get an indoor palm.
