Inspiration Board- Coastal Cottage

I was surfing ( see what I did there ;) ) around on TJ Maxx’s website this morning and found quite a few coastal cottage finds that caught my eye. I love adding coastal elements in a more relaxed classic way.

The first thing I saw was the cute little sailboat doggy bed, while we don’t have a dog of our own yet there was just something about the color and style. As a kid we went to the shore every year, usually it was to my grandparents house in St. Michaels on the bay but we also made many trips to the beach. My mom loved to ride bikes at the beach so the bike planter instantly made me think of her.

If you know me in person you know that I love and I mean love mermaids and all things coastal. At one point in my life I wanted to be a surfer( I know crazy right?! I grew up hours from the beach and my balance is not the best ). As a coastal lover I will be adding some pieces to our cozy home for the summer, maybe a mermaid or two.
