Vintage Pickin- Sweet Clover Barn Sale
Last Friday my husband and I ventured to a local barn sale and it did not disappoint. This was my first time visiting this barn sale but I know that it wont be my last. One of my favorite local small shops was set up there and I discovered a few more vendors that I fell in love with. The barn is nestled off the road a ways with beautiful views and the horses they have on the farm are also beautiful.
These are some of my finds from the sale. I found a brush for my plant stand, a vintage pie plate and bingo cards, a tray for styling and a laundry sign. My search for a cute laundry sign has been on going and when I picked this one up I knew I had found the one for our home. Also it helped that my husband liked it and said “Get it” lol. I like that he seemed to enjoy vintage shopping with me, I am slowly trying to bring him around to it:)
I added the bingo cards to the plant stand using my vintage floral frog to hold them. To me they add the perfect vintage summer touch, fun and playful. Hopefully soon our laundry room will be complete and I can display our sign in some way( the backyard “demo” starts next weekend).
Do you go thrifting and picking? Do you like vintage finds?
I am still on the hunt for a few items :
vintage silhouettes
more floral frogs / vintage gardening stuff
amber bottles
vintage cabin décor- oars, buoys etc.
I am sure that I am forgetting some, my list is always changing. I have noticed though that when I go without anything in mind I usually find exactly what I am looking for. Thank you for visiting the blog today. Have a great week.
