Backyard update- part two

I have been a bit quite on here and the interior projects have taken a back seat because of our backyard project but I have something exciting to share. The retaining wall is complete. I don’t know why but it makes me so happy to say that. The last step is to add concrete to secure it!

From there we had to decide what we wanted to tackle next. Since we moved in I told my husband I wanted a privacy fence , so now we are moving on to replacing our fence. While we really love our immediate neighbors I was really wanting our backyard to have more privacy that way we can enjoy the space and host friends. While making moves to replace the fence we have also removed the old shed. The old shed had mold and a crumbling roof, needless to say it was time.

While there isn’t anything really “ pretty” to show all of you yet we are making progress. Progress is truly better then nothing, I am so excited to see it coming together. Thank you for stopping by the blog today!
