A vintage inspired entryway

I had the itch to switch the other day, you know the feeling right? You see something at Target or in my case a vintage boutique that calls your name and says” Take Me Home”. Maybe that sounds a little silly but I have never really been one to like to leave spaces the same for to long. I changed my bedroom around so much that my mom got tired of asking me what I was doing when ever she heard me moving my furniture, she would just be surprised when she opened the door. As I was looking at all of the new vintage finds I have started to collect, it hit me where they would look their best…Our entryway.

I was talking to my husband the other day about why I find historical homes and buildings so fascinating. I like to imagine the stories and memories each place has from over the years. I think it is the same for me when it comes to my love for vintage pieces. I like to imagine where they came from and who used them. I get excited to create my own memories with the pieces that I have curated over the years.
