A cozy summer living room

I truly love being cozy all year and I love creating cozy spaces in our home. Truthfully you will probably find me under a blanket even in the hottest months of the year. Our living room has become one of my favorite places to spend time watching tv or in most cases day dreaming.

The cable knit pillow I recently blogged about here was the inspiration to creating a cozy summer living room. I have been on the hunt for two oversized cottage style pillows to add to our space so that we could relax more when we sit in here. I don’t know there is just something about an over sized pillow. On a recent trip to HomeSense I found these two over sized striped pillows with buttons on sale. You guys, they were two for $15. That was a deal I could not pass up. They add just the right about of cozy and cottage farmhouse charm.
