Vintage Soul Designs turns ONE today!
Today is a day full of celebration for me, not only is it the fourth of July but Vintage Soul Designs turns one. As I typed the title of this blog post I could feel the tears in my eyes. I cant even begin to explain how amazing it feels to say that I not only own my own business but that I have owned it for a year. Interior design has changed my life in so many ways to the beautiful friendships I have made through school to the creative aspect of it. So much has changed in a year, its amazing what happens in a year isn’t it? Last year my husband helped me launch my little corner of the internet right before we went to see fireworks, this year I am typing this as three guys( my husband included) work to put our backyard together.
I am so excited for what the future holds for me and this business. It has and will always be my goal to bring my passion for interior design to my clients. I want them to love their home no matter where they find themselves in life. I am also looking forward to more opportunities to share our cozy home and what we are doing to fix it up. Living in a fixer upper there is always something going on.
So funny story..I bought these cupcakes at a grocery store on my way home from work(on a day when it was blazing hot and in the 90’s). I forgot to put them in the cold bag I had instead I left them in the grocery bag on my floor board. When I got home they were upside down and most of the icing had sloshed off. I quickly put them in the refrigerator and was able to save them. Needless to say it was an adventure getting them home which seems befitting for my first year of business. I have something exciting coming up so stay tuned for that.
I just wanted to take a second to say thank you for coming to the blog, visiting me on IG and for just being here. I would not be able to do this with out the love of my friends and family(and their constant help and support). I cant wait to share more projects with you here and on IG. Thank you so much again for visiting the blog today. Happy 4th to all my American friends, enjoy and be safe.
