What Being Home Has Taught Me
Hey Friends Hey
At home and feeling out of sorts? Lets talk about it. I have good days and I have not so good days. I get my work done for my job but I feel like I am letting myself down by not learning a new skill or finishing a house project. One of the most important things that I and so many others have learned is that it is okay to not get all of the things done. Taking it one day at a time is all that is asked of us. I think that is going to be something important for me to remember when everything is back to “normal” .
If you have been following me for a while you know that our indoor garden has been bringing me lots of joy and peace. In fact being home has allowed me to get in the kitchen more and to utilize the harvest from our gardens. I am by no means saying I am a cook or even good at it but this time has allowed me a chance to get in there and stretch my wings. I even made no knead bread which has intimidated me for years. If you want to give this bread a try the video can be found on Glen and Friends youtube channel.( not affiliated, just wanting to share because it is amazing)
Aside from getting into the kitchen to cook, being home has truly taught me to really love my home. It may sound silly but this is the place where I feel safe and feel like I can be my best self. I have loved the extra time at the end of the day to be able to clean or do laundry if I feel up to it. Some days I just like to relax at the end of the day, I am finding that it is all about balance and that is perfect for me during this time. How have you been feeling? Are you learning anything new? Thank you for taking the time to stop by the blog today.
