Gardening is something that I have always wanted to do when I finally got my own place. I used to love watching my dad out in the garden and getting to eat what he grew. In a way having plants(in our case house plants) helps me to feel close to my dad. Over here at Vintage Soul we have quite a bit of yard maintenance to do this year so planting outside will have to wait until next year.

When we looked at our house we had no idea what was lurking, for lack of better words, behind the walls. In our case it was mold in the hvac system. We never could have imagined the work we would have to do.
Read MoreSpring is finally here and I am so excited. I have been loving this space in our home so much. Entryways make my heart happy especially when they are functional while also being pretty. I have already started to plan how I want to style this space in the summer. I know I am jumping the gun on that one it is just so fun to style. To make it feel welcoming and cozy I added soft blues, subtle pops of pink and greenery.
