Hello Friends. Even though I am enjoying the coziness of the winter days I am also thinking about the spring. One of the things on the list to complete this spring is my shed office. The reason I am bringing that up is because I convinced my husband to let me cover the walls in shiplap. Now I know what you are thinking, there are so many other wall textures why shiplap? In short, I love the look of it, it feels like a classic vintage farmhouse staple. At this time we don’t really have any place in our home to add it so the office shed seems like the best place. The second answer is that it will give me a beautiful space to create.

I hope that everyone had a wonderful holiday season. Mine seemed to fly by and now here we are in a new year. Are you someone who sets new years goals? I have in the past and never really followed through with them for one reason or another. This year is going to be about choosing joy and doing more things that bring me joy as last year was a hard one for me, things happened in my personal life as well as the business that have given me so much strength and hope for the future.

This last year was filled with so many ups and downs but I am truly excited to see what 2020 has in store for the blog, the business and our cozy home. Read MoreIs it just me or did the holiday season sneak up on you too? I have only experienced a bit of holiday stress this year ( running out of wrapping paper mid wrap) so I will call that a win. Recently we have been working on some fun projects around the house to include setting up an indoor garden and talking about planting some CHRISTMAS TREES. A fun fact about me is that I have always wanted to live on a Christmas tree farm. I love trees and the spirit of Christmas so much (maybe I have been watching to many hallmark movies🤣 ) so that sparked the talks about growing some Christmas trees.
